The Anger SanitAIzer is a comedy tool run by one person. There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no advertising. This page explains exactly what happens to what you type.
When you press the button, the message you wrote is sent to our server, which passes it to Anthropic's Claude API to be rewritten, and the rewritten version is sent back to your browser and shown on screen.
We do not save it. Your message is not written to a database, and it is not printed into our server logs — the site keeps no copy of it after the response is delivered. Nothing you type is used to train any model of ours, and we do not sell or share it with anyone beyond the processing described here. When you close or refresh the tab, it is gone from our side entirely.
The one honest caveat behind “your rage is not stored”: to rewrite your message, it has to be transmitted to and processed by Anthropic, our AI provider. That processing is governed by Anthropic's privacy policy. Anthropic does not train its models on text submitted through its API. We hold no copy ourselves.
Practical advice regardless: this is a joke machine on the public internet. Please don't paste passwords, financial details, medical information, or anything else genuinely confidential into it.
To stop a single person from hammering the service and running up the bill, the server counts recent requests per IP address. That counter lives in memory for a short window (minutes to a day) and disappears when the server restarts. It is not stored in a database and is not linked to your message.
Separately, our host (Vercel) keeps ordinary server logs of requests to the site, as essentially every web host does.
None. The site sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising services, and does not store anything in your browser between visits.
The optional microphone button uses your browser's built-in speech recognition. The audio never reaches our servers — but in some browsers, notably Chrome, the browser sends the audio to its own vendor for transcription, under that vendor's privacy policy. If you would rather not, just type instead.
The shareable image is drawn entirely inside your browser and is never uploaded to us. It exists only on your device unless you choose to share it.
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google receives the request for those font files, including your IP address, as part of serving them.
This site is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 13.
If this policy changes, the “last updated” date above changes with it.
